"Warren will provide an update on the current state of the United Inventors Association, including the new management team, with particular emphasis on recent UIA efforts to derail the so called Washington "Patent Troll" legislation, a Bill working through Congress that would have had dramatic negative consequences for independent inventors. This Bill was sponsored by several silicon valley high tech firms, including Google, and was just tabled in May by Senator Patrick Leahy Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Our own CT Senator Blumenthal sits on the Judiciary Committee as well."
